Indication

Viplenish® is indicated as essential vitamin supplementation in CKD patients - both pre-dialysis and those on dialysis - to replenish vitamin stores, treat uraemia, and support recovery from the wasting syndrome commonly seen in this population.

Mechanism of action

Provides water-soluble vitamins at levels appropriate to CKD/dialysis nutritional requirements, where standard multivitamins may either under- or over-supply individual nutrients. Methylcobalamin and biotin support neuromuscular and energy metabolism; folic acid and B-complex vitamins support haematopoiesis.

Composition

Each Viplenish® film-coated tablet contains: Ascorbic Acid I.P. 60 mg; Niacinamide I.P. 20 mg; Methylcobalamin I.P. 1500 mcg; Biotin USP 300 mcg; Folic Acid I.P. 10 mg; Pantothenic Acid I.P. 10 mg; Riboflavin I.P. 3 mg; Thiamine Hydrochloride I.P. 2 mg; Pyridoxine Hydrochloride I.P. 20 mg; Excipients q.s.

Alu-alu pack of 10 tablets in one strip, 10 strips in a box.

For Healthcare Professionals

Typical dose: one tablet daily, or as prescribed. For patients on dialysis, take after the dialysis session is complete.
