FOSREGO®

DESCRIPTION
FOSREGO® is a non-metal, non-absorbing phosphate binder which binds to the phosphate throughout the gut thereby reducing the systemic absorption of phosphorus which reduces and controls serum phosphorus levels in Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) patients. FOSREGO® (Sevelamer Carbonate) taken with meals has been shown to control serum phosphorus concentrations in patients with CKD who are on dialysis.

COMPOSITION
Each FOSREGO®-400 tablet contains: Sevelamer Carbonate 400 mg.
Each FOSREGO®-800 tablet contains: Sevelamer Carbonate 800 mg.
INDICATION
FOSREGO® (Sevelamer Carbonate 400/800 mg) is phosphate binder indicated in Hyperphosphatemia to control serum Phosphorus levels in Chronic Kidney Disease patients.
DOSAGE
FOSREGO® is prescribed to patients depending upon their Serum Phosphorus levels –
If Serum Phosphorus is >7.5 mg/dl : Two tablets of FOSREGO®-800 three times a day with meals.
If Serum Phosphorus is >5.5 and <7.5mg/dl : One Tablet of FOSREGO®-800 three times a day with meals.
If Serum Phosphorus is >4.5 and <5.5 mg/dl : One Tablet FOSREGO®-400 three times a day with meals
